It's been a bit manic...

Yes I know, I know... I've been sadly lacking in the posting department but it really has been pretty non-stop here.  I finally got a breathing space by having a week off work (hurrah!), although I usually avoid taking time off during school holidays like the plague.  Anyway, what's been happening?
- Well I read Dissolution, which is wonderful (very Name of the Rose), and am now onto Dark Fire.
- The new lady is settling in really well at work and we all get on with her which is great.
- We went down to Grafton Underwood in Northants again and I got quite a few pictures of sheep for some reason.
- We went up to Crich in Derbyshire at the weekend where they had a 1940s day, and I got a few photos, it really is a lovely place.
- Pepper went to the vets for her boosters yesterday and got frightened by an over-friendly dog who stuck his nose in at her cat carrier (apart from that she's perfectly healthy thank goodness).
- Posky has been referred for acupuncture for the arthritis in his paws and we're waiting to hear when he has to go, I will try and get some photos of the event!

I especially love the first photo...The vista is amazing. It feeds my soul, those green rolling hills. The area in which I live is pretty in the summer, but quite flat. Not Prairie-flat, but certainly not with rolling hills. I miss that.

The lambs are so cute--and big. But of course your lambing season would have been in March, I imagine.

The stained glass is lovely, I'm glad Pepper is okay and will send good vibes for Posky's acupuncture.

BTW, "Miscreants Inc." is great! :-)

Wonderful photographs. Love them all but particularly the first one and the sheep. Hey, I'm Scottish, can't help it. :D Was David trying to imitate Charlie's attitude?

Glorious photos of hills and lambs and stained glass. Hope the acupuncture goes well for Posky.

I thought that was David wearing a trilby! Was rather relieved that it was an re-enactor! :o)

Lovely, sweet lambs! There are lots of them round here, too. We're always glad we're vegan when we see them...

Poor wee Pepper! I hope it hasn't put her off going to the vet's. Or maybe she wasn't too keen anyway...

Hope Posky takes to the needles OK. And that they help.

Are you going to use your 'blue remembered hills' pic for your Bootcamp homework?

Thanks all. I will pass on all your good wishes for the acupuncture to Posky, who is less and less impressed at the thought of it by the day.
Penny - LOL! I think David is more a Wing Commander's cap type of chap :O) Pepper makes heartbreakingly pitiful cries all the way to the vets... You read my mind ref the Bootcamp pic, I've already uploaded it - can't remember how to send it to the homework gallery though! Doh! The re-enactor in the photo is called Russ and actually contacted me via Flickr saying he put the trilby on especially for me when he saw I was taking a photo - he said he thought the image looks great which I'm very pleased about.
