Camera Critters and Pet Pride

Two kitties and a bunny... The first is not a brilliant photo, but it shows Posky caught in the act of using his superior size to squash Ben off his little foot stool where he likes to sleep next to the radiator.  True to feline-kind, Posky feels neither guilt nor remorse at being exposed as a bunny-squasher.  The other two photos are of Charlie, the first of which was taken by putting my camera on the floor and hoping for the best (it was for The Daily Shoot - take a photo from a low perspective).  Talking of Charlie - my half sister and I did a swap of dining tables (don't ask), and we now own a six feet long table with four chairs which she brought over last night with the help of someone who looked like a salty old sea dog (no really, he did).  Anyway,  for some reason Charlie is scared of  the table... he's a bit strange but we love him anyway.

Pet Pride

I took this for the Daily Shoot assignment of two complimentary objects arranged to show their relationship to each other.  Here it's Pepper ('oh what big claws you have'), showing how to kill, maim and destroy a catnip mouse.

Pet Pride - Cats in Boxes and Beds...

So we've had quite a few parcels delivered from Amazon this week, and the cats love it, not because they're expecting a DVD or book (although they might be for all I know), but because of the packaging.  If there's a piece of cardboard or paper or, best of all, a box on the floor, they're either on it or in it.  This one seemed to hold a particular fascination for them.

And where was Charlie during all of this?  Looking on with bemused detachment from the sofa of course...

Later the box was discarded and Pod decided to try the new bed I bought for them, whilst Posky in devious mode took advantage of this and stole her cushion by the radiator...

Ben said that the cats have been hogging the camera for long enough so he decided that he would be this Sunday's Pet Pride post.  This is him looking festive, sitting in a Santa hat.

What happens when a bunny bites a cat's bum!  Actually Posky was yawning, but the thought made me laugh...  In case you're wondering about the relative size of these two, Posky is a BIG cat who weighs almost 6.75kg, and Ben is a very small rabbit who weighs 1.23kg...

Eureka!

Finally! A photo of me and a cat! This is Posky being obliging, and he was rewarded with Pepper's tuna that she didn't finish.  I can now find something else to obsess about - probably trying to take a picture to put on a Christmas card... that or George Cloony :O)

Fluffy cat on fluffy rug...

Posky decided to try out the new fluffy rug to see if it was suitable...

and promptly fell asleep.
