Shades of Autumn - Yellow

Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge

This week's colour proved more of a challenge than I would have thought - where has all the yellow gone?  I resorted to getting David to hold a large leaf in front of his face at one point (still got that cyst thing going on on his lip!), but as this looked really silly, in the end had to settle for a shot of my Rudbeckias in the rain (for 'rain' read 'me with watering can with camera on self-timer').

I love this photograph Barbara.
It is not often that you see rain captured like this, and it is wonderful.

I've always wanted to do that, but have never actually gotten around to doing it! Love this shot!

Among your abundance of truly special, spectacular, stunning and all-around wonderful photos, this is absolutely one of the standouts. I am utterly in love with this picture! And I love that you were using special effects with a high-tech watering can. LOL

I think this one should definitely be on the cover of your upcoming coffee table photography book. You know, the one I just know you're going to publish soon. :-)

Laloofah - as the cats are constantly nagging at me to publish a book about them (Charlie suggested: 'Charlie - a life of violence', and Posky thought 'Posky - being beautiful and loving it' were possible titles), I doubt whether flower photos would be allowed in one :O) To get back to the photo for a moment... thanks for your kind words, I actually wanted to get the sun behind it to show up the 'raindrops' but the damn thing was too low down in the sky. Rats.

"Charlie - a Life of Violence" - ROTFL!

I can't imagine this photo being any better than it is, and if you hadn't revealed that those are from a watering can, I'd have been totally convinced that they were raindrops (in a pelting rain that would have had me fearing for your camera!)
