My it's a while since I've taken part in one of these... I think I had camera fatigue. Anyway, some of these are new photos, some from the archives.
Pop of Colour...
A rubber duck goes a bit Andy Warhol...
Took this yesterday - it's actually the entrance
to The Heart of the Shires Shopping Village
in rural Northamptonshire!
I have really no idea why I thought this ornament
would make a good x-ray image.
I took this photo yesterday whilst at my friend Helen's new cottage,
she has no furniture yet but she does have this sign above her fireplace.
I wanted to kidnap it.
This is from the archives.
It's Charlie ignoring his toy of course.
Across from Helen's new cottage is a large black gate
set in a stone wall. Inside the gate is a beautiful
square garden surrounded by these Alms Houses which
date from the 18th century. They even have their
own little chapel. Originally built for widows of the parish,
they are absolutely gorgeous,
and you would never, ever guess they were there
from the outside.
