Lovely photo but hope you aren't feeling 'blue'

I like this photo! Serene, peaceful, yet saying good bye. What's the story behind it, I wonder!

And your comment prompt made me want to comment, too! I'll have to remember it for my blog...I'm low on the comments too! :)

What a lovely photo of you! I am, however, surprised there isn't at least one cat perched on the counter, blocking our view of your face. :-)

I sure enjoyed the results of your taking Viv's class!

Hi Barbara, Just letting you know that I look at your blog every single day. I am so impressed with your photographs. I've been blogging since 2006 and I have the same problem of having little comments. I know of a few friends and relatives that read my blog every day but only one friend comments constantly. I put on a counter and I've had a lot of visitors from many countries. But no one comments. Even though I do the blog solely for myself and to journal my life, it's always nice to know that someone out there cares. I am trying to learn to be a better photographer. I've used Photoshop Elements for awhile now. If you'd like to visit my url is: season-to-seaon.blogspot.com I so have enjoyed your blog (and your kitties). Peggy from PA

Barbara and Peggy re: visits vs comments - it's the same with my blog, always has been. I'm always most baffled by the people (unknown to me) who will spend upwards of 30 minutes on my blog, visiting several posts and out-clicking on various links, sometimes even making return visits, but never leaving a comment! Surely after all that they must have found something worth commenting on?! I don't get it. It can't always be due to a language barrier. Are people just too busy or that shy?

Anyway, I've found this blog one of the most comment-inspiring ones in my internet travels, and I feel exactly as you do, Peggy, about how although we do these blogs more for ourselves, it's always nice to get a supportive or complimentary comment letting us know that something we shared struck a chord with them or brightened their day. it's a big part of the joy of blogging! :-)

Thank you Laurie, Peggy and Nicole.
Peggy - thank you for being so loyal! I will zip over to your blog as soon as I've typed this :O)
Laurie - I like to think people are struck comment-less by the sheer wonderfulness of what they encounter ;o) I don't get much free time to read many blogs but I do try to leave some kind of comment when I do!

Almost forgot... I probably had to sit on the cat to keep it out of the shot :O)
