Laloofah - she's standing next to an old bi-plane (David could supply make and model number as well as year of manufacturer and possibly colour of the first pilot's socks). She is a lovely lady - and next to her elegance I felt like rubbish woman!
LOL - okay, you simply must ask him about the color of the first pilot's socks. I think that's a key bit of info that would really enhance this post. ;-)
That is so funny! I would have sworn that all those lines were shrouds on a ship of some kind, and that the background was water! See what tricks b&w photos can play? (This proves your point about "truth" in photos in today's Wordless Wednesday post, doesn't it!) :-)
You're no rubbish woman (wasn't she a member of the Fantastic Four? LOL) But I know what you mean, I have graceful, elegant friends who make me feel like a schlepp in their presence no matter how scrubbed and polished I might be! :-)

Is she on a ship of some sort? I especially like the photo of her in the upper right. She looks happy and lovely and quite posh!
