Shades of Autumn - Brown...

Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge

I thought this week's colour would be easier to do, in fact when you look closely it's amazing how many colours around in the autumn aren't actually brown!

I love each of these photos for different reasons. You're right, brown isn't the only colour of autumn though:-)

A great set of brown images, I love the single flower on the side of the building, what a great pop of color.

They're all such wonderful photos. My favourite is of the leaf on the old gravestone. :-)

Brown an autumn - lots of it! The first one made the point very well.

I like the tree the squirrel is standing in front of, ready to dash off if you make a move. As I think about it, brown is what we think of as autumn but it isn't really that prominent.

Thanks :O) It was quite amazing how often I went to take a photo of something I'd thought of as being 'brown', but then when I looked closer it was actually orange, or gold, or even pink - quite literally an eye-opener!

What, no photo of a UPS man? ;-)

Interesting that there's a paucity of brown this time of year, because it seems to be such a prominent color. Interesting illusion Mother Nature has created!

Only you could make the color brown so beautiful. My favorite photos are the attentively curious squirrel and the poignant leaf on the old gravestone, but they're all wonderful.

So many great shots! But, that first one is my absolute favorite. Great composition and what a unique capture too!
Thanks for joining us in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge. I hope you'll be back again on Friday for our new theme, white. Have a great day!
