Cats on Tuesday...

It was a lovely sunny day on Sunday, the cats took advantage of it by lurking in the garden.

Posky was being strange with a rose bush.

'My face is stuck! My face is stuck!
Don't just stand there taking pictures, get it off me!'

After that excitement, I was busy trying to take a photo of my feet.

Red
Posky: Whatcha doing?
Me:  Trying to take a photo of my red shoes.
Posky: Can I be in it?
Me: No

David and Pepper had some kind of mutual admiration society thing going on.

David: 'You're a beautiful little cat aren't you?'
Pepper:  'Yes I am'.

This annoyed Charlie intensely.  Most things do.

'Look at Princess Tippy Toes over there.  I want to slap her.
Oi Pepper! Stop acting like a twerp
or your friend the Buddha here might be
going the same way as Humpty Dumpty,
know what I mean?'

This gave Pepper such a moment of existential angst that she had to run over to check on the Buddha.

'Speak to me! Speak to me! Are you alright, did he hurt you?'

Posky then had words with Charlie.

Posky: 'Get over yourself!'
Charlie: 'Who's gonna make me?'

At which point Mrs Pod, still out of sorts from her trip to the vet, stepped in.

'Posky, don't just stand there, hit him!
Pepper, stop prancing about, and Charlie,
if I have to come over there to sort you out
I am going to batter you into your next incarnation.
Now shut it, the lot of you!

Charlie: 'Cor blimey I'm off...'

These photos and your hilarious narrative that accompanies them makes this my favorite post of yours ever (so far!) And since I think that all your posts are fun, funny and/or beautiful as well as clever, there is stiff competition among them for that spot!

The photos (and captions) of Posky's face "stuck" to the rosebush and the one of Pepper anxiously checking on the well-being of Buddha are my favorites of the bunch, and I just love the photo of your and Posky's cute tootsies! That is so sweet, it should be on a card or a calendar or in a shoe ad or something!

I can see why Charlie's your bouncer. Why is he such a curmudgeon, do you think? They're all so funny, I just love them. Thanks to you all for the great laugh first thing this morning! :-)

I hope Mrs. Pod is feeling better!

Great little screen play - I wonder if you could stage it? How is Mrs Pod?

Thanks all, you're very kind :O) Mrs P is a lot more comfortable now thanks, she doesn't like the cleaning solution she has to have in her ears and manages to drench me and everything else in it. Laloofah - I think Charlie was born a grumpy old man! You should hear him huff at things, he says he's the Toby Zeigler of the cat world (I've just realised I have no idea how to spell that!). Mine and Posky's tootsies thank you for the compliment (I only had those shoes on for ten minutes and my feet were killing me!).

I just learned a new word from Lui = MOL :)
Love your post and pictures !
It seems that you all could join the Naughty Kitty Club :)

MOL is a great word! LOL! They should definitely all be in the NKC. One of Posky's rosettes he won at the cat show was for 'Naughtiest Cat'!
