Instead of Bradgate Park we decided to put our Sunday morning yomp to good purpose and do a sponsored charity walk at Chatsworth House in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Seventy two miles up the M1 to the Derbyshire Peak District at a disgustingly early hour... and these are some of the images I took 'on the hoof''.

It went on and on and got steeper and steeper - I thought I was going to be sick!

Well done! You managed to take photos as you walked along - I'm impressed. I would have needed all my energy to concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other ;-)
You're smart. Taking pictures gave you an excuse to stop for a few minutes. :) I would have enjoyed this, but since I live in Pennsylvania, it's a bit far.
My cunning plan has been discovered :O) I thought I was going to need oxygen going up that path, it was hidous.
