Cats on Tuesday...

In which Charlie and Pepper star...

Charlie is fed up having insulin injections.
Here he is having collapsed on the bed in the act of
pointing to his glucose diary as proof he
doesn't need them.

How fed up is he?
Very!!!

Flatter than a flat thing in fact...

Lazy Sunday Morning...
Giving in to ennui
he goes to sleep...

Where he is discovered by Pepper,
who is not amused at
the invasion of her personal space...

... and who then insists
on having her photo taken
without him in it.

I'm going to call that utterly-relaxed-and-sunk-into-the-bed sleeping position, "The Charlie Sprawl" from now on.

I love that expression of disgusted disdain with which Pepper is glowering at Charlie! Did having her photo taken without him in it help ease her troubled mind?

'The Charlie Sprawl'... I like it. She was slightly mollified that she had her photo taken, but would still have preferred a total exlusion zone around her bed. Pepper does make me laugh, not much could today except her. She is so unimpressed with everything Charlie does. She sprung a surprise attack on him the other night and cut his paw! If I'd had my wits about me I could have taken a glucose reading :O)

LOL re: the total exclusion zone and your missed glucose-reading opportunity! Pepper is well-named, she's got zest! Elan! Moxie! Brio! Panache! And I think that Charlie should start calling her "Sergeant Pepper!" :-)

Now THAT made me laugh, thank you. And to think we also named her Cobweb! I have no idea why! Posky said she was only ever called Pepper as she irritated everyone and got up their nose :O)

Charlie, you really know how to sprawl out, handsome boy! And we had to smile at Pepper's expression as she watches you ... she is *definitely* not amused. :)

Hugs to you both.

I first thought he checked your household bills ! and that's why he collapsed instead of you ! Pepper should stay on her place, once gone, the place is taken especially when it's a good one and belongs to somebody else !

I wonder if the insulin shots are really worth it--poor kitty. Do they really help him? Pepper is cute watching Charlie closely and making sure he/she gets in the picture too!
Happy Thanksgiving!
