Song-ography...

Forever Autumn...
I love that song - but for autumn I really prefer poetry...

The summer-flower has run to seed,
And yellow is the woodland bough;
And every leaf of bush and weed
Is tipt with autumn's pencil now.

And I do love the varied hue,
And I do love the browning plain;
And I do love each scene to view,
That's mark'd with beauties of her reign.

Such a nice collection of shots - such varied elements...apples, scarecrow, wheelbarrow...and then that squirrel just munchin' away! I enjoyed these (and there's such a lot of beautiful autumn poetry, I agree!)

Wow, what a fabulous location and your shots are nothing short of awesomeness. Honestly, they would fill the pages of a magazine or coffee table book.

These are such beautiful autumn images, Barbara.
I especially love the leaf on the table, and the bales of hay.

Happy Sunday to you!

Wonderful images! The scarecrow among the cabbages reminds me of Beatrix Potter books!

All so beautiful and autumnal! I could almost feel frost on the brassica! You should publish a book! And how cute is that wee squirrel? Great shot!
