Water...
There's something incredibly nostalgic about
paper boats. Here mine sets
sail on our birdbath.
I used the b&w version of this
on Friday, but I do like the colour
as well.

Petal...
Buttercup petals waving in the breeze...
Raspberries - mine all mine...
Fresh #2...
Apple Danish - not mine...
Eight...
There are eight boats here,
trust me on this...
Calm...
Not sure what it says about my state
of mind this week that I chose
a picture in a graveyard for this...
Charlie having a 'calm' moment...

We had to laugh at your calling the fire brigade! Charlie, you are a big tease.
Love that raspberry shot. Makes me hungry.
Ooh, I really like the color version of the paper boat too ~ its pretty reflection in the water shows up really well! I agree paper boats are very nostalgic. Yours goes so well with my Penny Farthing velocipede sighting. :-)
Love the exuberant buttercups, and give me fresh raspberries over a Danish any day! You KNOW I love that graveyard shot! I think it evokes a sense of calm wonderfully. Charlie's calm looks ephemeral, the cemetery's a bit more permanent. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by on my blog. I thought I should return the favor and I am glad I did. I am now a new follower via the scavenger Hunt. I love your work! I am partial to the boat in your bird bath. So imaginative. I am also known to photograph headstones and post a few here and there.
These are all amazing! Wate is stunning and my favorite!
Beautiful set. You nailed it. I find cemeteries very calming, if they weren't we should be nervous! Love water, and fresh. (great minds think alike)
Outstanding collection and I completely agree that a grave site should be about 'calm' - a final resting place.
Raspberries look so delicious and colorful in your pics !!!! Old cemeteries are so interesting and calm and nice photo from it.
Wow! Your series is awesome.
I loved them all.
My top picks were: Calm, There is something very peaceful about your photo.
Oh and Charlie, well he's adorable. Funny I used a cat for my Calm prompt too.
Loved your Eight shot of the boats and if you notice there is a boat with the #8 on it in the shot.
Paper Boat on the Water was really a fun shot.
This is a really great series this week. I don't know if I can pick a fav among all this beauty. I actually looked up how to make a paper boat, I think they are so charming. The b&w line of boats is terrific. Love them all!!
You do have The Photographic Eye :-)
Can't choose a favorite-- they're all so gorgeous!
Wow...love all of your photos. I love the cemetery photo....the colors are even calming!
Au and Target - Posky was on that roof for about 9 hours!
Laloofah - Charlie was not calm this morning. In fact he was so bad he got asked to leave the premises!
Melissa - thank you, and welcome :O)
Tamar SB - thank you, am partial to the little boat shot too :O)
MG Atwood and Nicki - I agree about cemeteries, well unless I was in one, alone at midnight, with a high wind blowing and strange noises all around me... (you can tell I used to watch too much Buffy can't you?)
Nukke - The raspberries tasted as good as they looked :O)
Ida - As for Charlie... see my comment to Laloofah!
Deanna - Paper boats are great, and you never see children making or playing with them any more. Their loss...
RuneE - Thanks, I also have the evil eye look usually reserved for Charlie and/or David.
Rachel and Karen - Thank you both :O)
The injustice of an apple strudel that is not yours. Is there no fairness in the world!
:O)))
I take it Charlie's not often calm?
Now I feel hungry for an apple danish...
He is... a strange and unusual cat William!
Your compositions this week are perfect - I love the entire set.
