Yay! A bookcase picture! With cats thrown in! (Not literally, of course! I can just see their outraged looks if you tried any such thing!) I'm now going to try to zoom in and see some of the titles (next best thing to a proper browse...) Do I spot some Penguin Classics?
The cats and I thank you for your comments. Penny - I reduced the photo to upload so doubt you'll be able to get much joy from zooming in. Yes you do see a lot of Penguin and Oxford World's Classics, I studied eighteenth and nineteenth century novels so have quite a few (a great tip from a tutor of mine - write an A-Z index in the back of the book you're reading and jot down important details there as you're reading, it really helps!). Barbara - Pepper is mortified that you think she looks like Charlie. She had to meditate next to the Buddha for an hour last night to calm her nerves :O)
Laloofah - how do you come across such great finds? I am ordering that book from Amazon (Pepper insisted). Posky also said he was actually looking for a copy of the poems of Catullus, but it was hidden amongst works on Catalonia which made him feel quite catatonic :O)
LOL, That's impressive, but I think Posky is just showing off his erudition, and that what he was REALLY looking for was The Cat in the Hat! ;-)
I'm not surprised that Pepper insisted you order Choosing to Be, I'm just surprised she doesn't already possess a signed copy! I found that book the way I find most great things (including your blog)... randomly! I'm tickled that you ordered it!
And I LOL'd at your reply to Barbara about Pepper's mortification and need to meditate by Buddha to calm herself. You are too funny! But poor Pepper, I can only imagine how appalling it would be to be told you look like your nemesis! :-)

Literary cats - wonderful:-)
Oh, yes, that's a must -- both books and cats. Love the home library!
Oh, that's an absolutely fantastic photo and your caption is purrfect! I'll bet Posky chose, Choosing to Be: Lessons in Living from a Feline Zen Master" by the appropriately named Kat Tansey. ;-)
Great picture. It looks like Charlie is on the trail for a good read too, or is he getting ready to jump into the plant pot?
