Song-ography...

The Summer Wind...

This got me scratching my head.  In the end I went for a longish exposure of some purple flowers I saw when I was out for a walk, and a Marilyn moment from Violet.

Apologies for not being around much, I've been pretty busy and if I've not been shooting pics I've been editing them, or planning shoots, or working on my website (www.focusonpetsphotography.co.uk).  I've also been trying to decide on a new lens (which has taken up more time to think about than is probably healthy).  I have a yen for a 35mm f1.4, and/or a 100mm macro (I also wouldn't mind a Canon 5D Mark III if anyone is feeling generous) :-)

The swirling flowers are pretty but I've got to say that your 50's inspired shot is "da bomb" - I love it.

The purple flowers are amazing - so soft & surreal. I can almost feel the summer breeze caressing my cheek!

The first one is almost like cotton candy. Love that, and the second is so stylish!

No need to apologize...we all just do the best we can. I can be an avid visitor and poster and then fall to pieces for a couple months. Remember, blogs don't spoil, they just sit waiting for you. : )

Love your Marilyn shot. Awesome. A perfect way to capture wind.

And love the title of your blog

Thanks all.
Christine E-E. The model is the lovely Violet Leys and we shot it at Sleap Airfield in Shropshire https://www.facebook.com/violetleysmodel?fref=ts

Nicki - isn't that dress great? It's available from British Retro www.britishretro.co.uk
