Cats on Tuesday...

First of all can we all please sing a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday to our resident Buddhist cat,   the lovely Pepper... she's thirteen today and is planning on a quiet celebration in deep horizontal meditation on her new blanket, followed by a few of the cat treats we bought her.  (And keep this quiet but she's off to the vets first thing for her boosters! Am I cruel or what???).

Pepper with her 'Birthday Portrait' pose...

And now...

I actually posted this on Sunday as I couldn't wait to share it, but I feel it's worth a bit of recycling. Here, making his Cats on Tuesday debut, is the gorgeous BUMBLE!  No he's not mine, he belongs to my friend Cath but I am his official photographer :O)

Bumble 3
'How cute am I?...'

Bumble 11
...'Very cute - yes?'

Bumble 19
'But am I ready for the fame that being on the interwebz will bring?...'

Bumble 20
...'Will it all be too much for me?
Should I retreat from the glare of publicity now?'

Bumble yawn
'Mwahahahahahaha..., bring it on!!'

STOP PRESS: Bumble went to the vet yesterday for his check-up and it turns out that he's a she!  She was far too pretty to be a boy so it's a good job really :O)

Fabulous! Just fabulous! Isn't that what the stars say to one another?! Because THIS is a star in the making for sure! This cat is so fluffy I could DIE! Love every single shot you got of this doll... especially that last one :-)

Thanks Shannon, he's gorgeous isn't he? I took a lot of photos trying to get some good ones. When he moves he moves fast!

So, so, so, so beautiful! And you've captured him so well. What a beautiful wee fluff-ball! I'm insanely jealous of your friend! And you!

Bumble is gorgeous, and absolutely precious in the way that only kittens can be. :-)

Thanks for commenting on my Musings post. I wouldn't dare let the neighbours hear the tape, the mother would flip out. There's already been more drama between us (over our Victoria Day weekend, three weeks ago now), and I prefer to lay low. Shame they don't feel that way too. The boy has "issues," but apparently *is* capable of better behaviour when the parents step up to the plate. "When" being the operative word.

Ah, townhouse living can be such a joy. LOL.

But it could be far worse, too, and I know it.

What a gorgeous kitty! The light captured in the eyes in that first photo is magnificent.

Bumble (love his name) takes adorable to a whole new level! Photos #1, 3 and 5 are my favorites, and I absolutely think you should be a professional critter photographer. You capture their beauty, personality and soul so wonderfully! Cath has got to be thrilled to have these photos (and to have Bumble in her life!)

Thanks all.

Laurie: The sad thing is Cath hasn't seen any of the pics yet. The mobile phone she has is a bit dodgy (not helped by her dropping it down the loo a few times), and she doesn't have a computer! She's rubbish!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear Pepper!! Lucky 13, eh? I can't believe you're a day over three, you're so beautiful and youthful! :-)

Though I "know" her only through your lively blog, dropping her cell phone down the loo multiple times just sounds to me like such a Cath thing to do. :-) But no computer? What kind of Luddite is she?! Maybe when she realizes what she's been missing out on (especially her adorable Bumble's sublime photos), she'll beat feet to the nearest Apple store.

Happy birthday Pepper ! The cake I think should have been in mouse form and containing chicken ! (ask that for the 2nd birthday) The Bumble pictures are beautiful ! Perfect for a calendar !
I just came back from 2 days in London and am 2cm shorter from all this walking, but it was great !

Thanks Gattina... as for London - rather you than me, I can't take the pace!
