This was going to be a totally serious post about the joy of soup. Soup is brilliant - I love the way you just chop stuff, throw it into a pan and it turns into something great. Then I thought I'd take some pics of the soup we had yesterday, but then I got bored.
See? I started out with good intentions...
But then the temptation became too much
as I was faced with two slices of bread
with holes in it...

Too funny ! I'm so envious of your photos, I want to start saving right now for a better camera ! Those cats in your previous post are something else !
Haha...thanks for the morning laugh. And I can soooo relate :)
Ah, a sublime study of Edvard Munch's "The Scream" in bread and olives. (And seriously, how appropriate is the name Munch? LOL)
It was a soup weekend for us, too! Chipotle Black Bean soup. Yumska!
Have you ever seen the photo of the cat with it's head stuck through a piece of wonder bread? Of course the line was that the cat was inbread.
The soup seems to have been a Scream ... (BTW - Munch means Monk)
The Silver Bunny: Thank you, I did try to visit your blog but couldn't get on it. Will try again later.
Kathy: :O)))
Laloofah: I wasn't aiming to be that high-brow but now that you mention it... maybe I should sell this to Tate Modern!
Sharon: LOL! I had to go and tell David what you'd written it amused me so much.
RuneE: Groan... and thanks for the clarification, I had no idea...
"And so the bread screamed, but were not heard, as the hand drew it ever close to the mouth, and those awful, sharp fangs the bipeds called teeth. For the bread knew its time had come..."
LOL, I love those weird breads! And soup. Tomato soup with meatballs, a Dutch thing, is my fave. I shall make some next week and photograph it.
