Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

Nature's Own...
Went to Stratford yesterday and got
hassled by some geese in the car park.
Here's one giving me the evil eye...

Nature's Own #2
Tree in the fog...
I could lie and say the fog in Leicestershire really is
that strange colour...
Actually I split-toned it for no better
reason than that I could...

Vintage...
One from the archives.
Real team-work involved in this image,
(thank you David) :O)

Word or Quote...
On reading this my first thought was
'Do they?  Well why doesn't someone tell them to stop it?!?!'
My bete noire (sorry, don't know how to put the accent above
the first 'e') is missing or misplaced apostrophes!

They do it with mirrors... People...
Well it's actually David reflected in an art deco mirror...

Photographer's Choice...
Love this fountain - it's made from a repeating
pattern of Spitfires.
I wish I'd used a faster shutter speed to really freeze those water droplets.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Photographer's Choice #2
The hotel at Sywell.
Fabulous art deco building... love that style.

This is such a very interesting set of photos. Your people photos is very interesting - something you would see on a wall at a modern art museum. WOW.

You're right, Barbara. Why doesn't someone tell the pilots to stop it? :D I'm fascinated by the photo of David's reflection in the art deco mirror and I too love the art deco style of architecture. Recently the city of Binghamton, NY tore down an art deco bus station; it broke my heart.

Those geese can be quite vicious...my kids always called them "Honkers" because they honked while they were chasing my kids at the park. I really like that fog capture. And "because I am able to do it" is MY mantra too :). I didn't get a chance to comment on your post the other day re: facts about you. But I wanted to tell you I hope you won't' hold it against me that I love "DOwnton Abby" :).

LOVED that vintage one Barbara so much but that art deco is wonderful. As a child I didn't appreciate art deco and thought it was so out of fashion but now I embrace it and wish I could find some here..........but art deco and rural countryside rarely are side by side.
