Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

Not been very well this week and am now more tired than a sloth with sleeping sickness.  Even in the midst of feeling rubbish my camera was never far from my side, so I did actually manage to complete the Scavenger Hunt.  Just.... And I have news on the missing mittens (last weekend's excitement) - one of them has been found at Warwick Arts Centre and returned to me.  But where is the other one and why weren't they together?!?  It's like an Agatha Christie whodunnit...

Facial Feature...
I spy with my little eye...
It's hard putting mascara on whilst
taking a photo - even harder when you're
shortsighted and can't see what the hell you're doing.

Eye Shadow
Shadow...
(Well it's eye shadow to be precise...)
Wouldn't attempt to apply this and photograph it
at the same time!

IMAG0189 19/366
And some more shadows...
Taken with the Little Photo App on my Android phone
and edited in Piknik.

 Spicey...
Spice in jars.
Not much else to say!

Gold...
The inside of an electric plug.
Why didn't I take a picture of some gold jewellery?
I don't really like it!  Silver is
more funky - definitely more me.

Stratford upon Avon-13
...and some gold I do like the look of,
golden sparkles on the River Avon.

Scarf...
Fabric...
My favourite scarf and coat.
Not really happy with this but
it was getting late in the day
and I couldn't think of anything else :O)

OMG...what a fabulous set! The colours are amazing, and I really like your interpretations :) I'm with you on the gold vs silver thing (although, white gold is quite nice :D). Those gold sparkles on the river are amazing <3

Wishing you well this week...and hoping you feel better soon!

Thank you all for your kind words, I am feeling much better now. At the moment I am drinking a large glass of red wine (purely for medicinal purposes...) :O)

Barb, the sunshine sparkles on the water is brilliant! Could you share how that was accomplished? Special lens, setting? Magical! And the shadow capture...first off, the creativity of interpretation makes me smack my head and wonder why "I" didn't think of that! haha. Secondly, the clarity of focus and the details are amazing. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Kathy you are forgiven for Barbing me! Let me think, the sparkles were accomplished with a teeny-tiny aperture, I think I had it on about F/29, WHILST I shot into the sun and hoped for the best :O) The eye shadow thing wasn't planned really, I saw a shot of some eye shadow someone had taken and wanted to try it with my macro filter, then when I'd done it I thought 'Eye shadow... eye... shadow! Shadow!!!', I was a bit slow on the uptake but I got there in the end.

I am completely in awe of that first photo! How did you manage it? I'd have blinded myself!!

The last two are my favorites, naturally, being a big fan of sparkly things! :-) The gold sparkles on the beautiful river Avon is just magical, and I love the scarves!

Laloofah said...

LOL - it looks like I DID blind myself, just by typing a winky face! Where's my winky face's left eye? See, told you I could never have managed taking that first photo!

LOL! I just sort of aimed in the general direction of the mirror and hoped for the best! Hope you find your wink soon ;O)
