Facial Feature...
I spy with my little eye...
It's hard putting mascara on whilst
taking a photo - even harder when you're
shortsighted and can't see what the hell you're doing.

Shadow...
(Well it's eye shadow to be precise...)
Wouldn't attempt to apply this and photograph it
at the same time!

And some more shadows...

Spicey...
Spice in jars.
Not much else to say!

Gold...
The inside of an electric plug.
Why didn't I take a picture of some gold jewellery?
I don't really like it! Silver is
more funky - definitely more me.

...and some gold I do like the look of,
golden sparkles on the River Avon.
Fabric...
My favourite scarf and coat.
Not really happy with this but
it was getting late in the day
and I couldn't think of anything else :O)

I'm in love with all your pictures! My first 'wow' was with the facial feature, and it didn't stop til the end. Excellent set!!
Fabulous - I love your take on Shadow!
Great photos, love the take on the shadow!
Gorgeous photos. Amazing picture of the Avon - wonderful. Love your take on shadow too!!
But I like them all!
Creative with your (eye) shadow and gold sparkles across the river Avon and I do like your mix of fabrics - very colorful.
Great shots, I had the same idea with the shadow, lucky I used a completely different shot. Your photos are just stunning! I always look forward to seeing them, so I am glad you submitted! Get well soon
I love your shadow - the colors and creativity are splendid!
Beautiful...love the take on shadow:)

I LOVE your set this week! Hope you feel better soon!
What wonderful captures! I love the close-ups and the detail - gorgeous! I hope you feel better very soon.
OMG...what a fabulous set! The colours are amazing, and I really like your interpretations :) I'm with you on the gold vs silver thing (although, white gold is quite nice :D). Those gold sparkles on the river are amazing <3
Wishing you well this week...and hoping you feel better soon!
Thank you all for your kind words, I am feeling much better now. At the moment I am drinking a large glass of red wine (purely for medicinal purposes...) :O)
Barb, the sunshine sparkles on the water is brilliant! Could you share how that was accomplished? Special lens, setting? Magical! And the shadow capture...first off, the creativity of interpretation makes me smack my head and wonder why "I" didn't think of that! haha. Secondly, the clarity of focus and the details are amazing. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Sorry...I meant "Barbara" :)
Kathy
Kathy you are forgiven for Barbing me! Let me think, the sparkles were accomplished with a teeny-tiny aperture, I think I had it on about F/29, WHILST I shot into the sun and hoped for the best :O) The eye shadow thing wasn't planned really, I saw a shot of some eye shadow someone had taken and wanted to try it with my macro filter, then when I'd done it I thought 'Eye shadow... eye... shadow! Shadow!!!', I was a bit slow on the uptake but I got there in the end.
I'm really loving this entire set - beautiful compositions...absolutely gorgeous.
You've got some great close-ups in this set!
These pictures are unbelievable! I love every one of them!
Really artistic and beautiful interpretations! I love the gold sparkles!
Love the closeup of your eye shadow, and those beautiful stars in the water!
I hope you get to feeling better soon. These are all amazing shots!
I am completely in awe of that first photo! How did you manage it? I'd have blinded myself!!
The last two are my favorites, naturally, being a big fan of sparkly things! :-) The gold sparkles on the beautiful river Avon is just magical, and I love the scarves!
LOL - it looks like I DID blind myself, just by typing a winky face! Where's my winky face's left eye? See, told you I could never have managed taking that first photo!
LOL! I just sort of aimed in the general direction of the mirror and hoped for the best! Hope you find your wink soon ;O)
