Another striking photo in B&W, and it's now got me wondering ~ what makes a drop of water defy gravity and cling to the side or bottom of something like that? For that matter, what makes water molecules cling together to form a water drop in the first place?
I'll ponder these weighty matters as I manically run from thing to thing again today. :-)
Barbara, I couldn't figure out how to email Laloofah so I'm sending her a thank you here. I looked up the sites she gave me for feral cats and found that Alley Cat Allies has people nearby who can help. I have emailed the closest one and we'll see what happens. Thanks again Laloofah - and Barbara for passing our messages on.
Laloofah - before you give yourself a headache trying to work out the gravity defying exploits of raindrops... I actually rotated the photo 90 degrees left as I thought it made a better image :O) Barbara - Fantastic news! Fingers crossed. All - the chives and I thank you all for your lovely comments.
Barbara II - Got your message! Thanks for the update, I'm so glad Alley Cat Allies may be of assistance! They're a wonderful organization.
Barbara I - Well, that does help a little! But I've still seen lots of raindrops defy gravity, at least until they don't, so I've still been puzzling till my puzzler is sore. :-)

I'll never look at chives the same way again!
