Woke up early this morning because of a small hot water bottle of a cat lying next to me so decided to see if I could drag an entry to the Scavenger Hunt together. Yes I know I shouldn't have left it until the last minute, but don't nag at me ok? I haven't had time to put a Christmas tree up yet let alone do anything else...
Ended up at some kind of
get-together for trainee pilots at
Coventry Airport yesterday.
Not sure how that happened!
Anyway, there was a very nice Christmas tree
with little presents under it.

Pretty thing decorating

Leaf caught in the stripy
planks of a bench at

David, and also photography!
I can also squeeze another favourite
out of this one as it was taken with my
10-22mm lens which I love as it
gives such weird and wonderful effects.
(As evidenced by David's hands
being as big as his head in this shot) :O)
LOVE your photos, amazing! Christmas tree bokeh? Yes, please. Super cute kitty? Check. Amazing lens? Now I'm jealous. Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteNice shots...love Sparkly!
ReplyDeleteMe, being a cat lover, and having two here on my desk as I type the comment after viewing....I LOVE your kitty photo!
ReplyDeleteOh, and may I add, I love the effect of the sepia/monotones of your photography of some.
Hope you can find time today to stop by and view my very 1st Scavenger Hunt.
Eek! love that lens, so cool. Don't worry about this weeks entry being a last minute thing (mine usually end up like that too!) as they are all fabulous photos. I particularily love the leaf what a gorgeous colour xxxx
ReplyDeleteThat stripes photo is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteEach one of these as more beautiful then the next! That shot of the leaf, wowza!
ReplyDeletelast minute or not, these are all just great. Love the effect of the 10-22 - very cool!

The posts you scramble to throw together at the last minute are so much better than the ones I toil over for days!! Yet I think if I adopted your "last minute" method, they'd be unspeakably awful. :-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the festive bling of the two tree ornament photos, and the natural simplicity of the leaf. But all the photos are wonderful!
Enjoy the black and white so much. Your "door" pic is my favorite. Love wrought iron, and beautiful old churches!
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job for throwing this together : ) after your water bottle woke you up. I love kitties. Mine do that too. I tell them to go away and let me sleep for another thirty minutes. They don't listen : ). LOVE your lens. Love your hubby shot. So sweet. Gorgeous pictures. Wishing you the merriest of holidays. Love. Becky
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! Love the composition of your favorite things #3. Your sparkle photo is just stunning.

ReplyDeleteI love the mystery behind the open door. What a great series of shots, and you've got a cute kitty too!
