Did you enjoy David's balancing act with those books yesterday? We decided to continue the literary theme into Cats on Tuesday by letting the cats choose an appropriate volume to pose with.
First of all here's Mrs P.
Never was a title more appropriate,
dear god that cat can talk...
Next we have Posky,
and the least said about HIS choice the better...
Here's Charlie.
Not sure if he thought that
someone had written his biography or what...
And finally...
here's Pepper in Ommmm pose.
She said that HH the Daila Lama
signed that copy especially for her... :O)
For more kitties visit Gattina's Cats on Tuesday.
Your cats are VERY intellectual ! and very useful as booksigns only they sit on the book ! The photos are great !
ReplyDeleteWe love the captions to all your pictures! Purrs!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Target is our only book reader and he tends to go for ones with ribbon bookmarks! Your cats are obviously not fur brains.
ReplyDeleteIntellectual kitties! That makes this English teacher's heart glad!
ReplyDeleteMy cats are reading Game Of Thrones. Along with the two legged female at our house.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see the feline members of your family are such book lovers. I suspect Charlie's motives for his title though. :D
ReplyDeleteLOL! How typically clever of you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea Mrs. Pod was so loquacious. And Posky, say it ain't so! (There are better ways to get acupuncture than messing about with owls and their talons, my dear boy!) Charlie, what can I say. I thought it was your bio as well. I hear there's a sequel coming out, "The Amulet of Doom." (Cats have 7 lives, so they obviously are worthy of more than one biography!) And Pepper, both your pose and your book choice are purrfect.
Such erudite children you have. Not surprisingly! May I join you all with my copy of "Pompeii" and a glass of lemonade on the veranda? :-)
The erudite kitties thank everyone for their comments.
ReplyDeleteBarbara - I suspect Charlie's motives for most things...
Laloofah - You forgot the other volume 'Charlie - a life of violence' remember? We don't have a veranda but we do have a bench, which you're welcome to share anytime with me and the cats (make it a shiraz instead of the lemonade though) :O)
Ah, I had forgotten. Three bios for Charlie then - and still only 1/3 of his lives are covered!
ReplyDeleteShiraz it is then - for medicinal purposes, of course. ;-)
This really made me smile!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness what a fun post. Loved all your kitties but I've got to say the last one was my favorite. I may have to try this sometime with our cats. They do have their own unique personalities don't they.
ReplyDeleteThanks all - My literary studies obviously rubbed off on the cats - Posky in particularly was always by my side when I had essays to write, in fact he claims some of the highest marks I received were purely down to his thoughts wafting across to me.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ida - they surely do!
Oh, I'm falling about laughing!
