Smile...
Cath drinking again...
Not so much standing as
walking alone really...
... and yet another!
Honestly, you wait all week for one
Scavenger Hunt shot and then
four come along all at once...
This is David standing alone in his own
world (it's a photography book)...
Gravestone...
What is artificial, and what is real?
Profound or what??!?
Repeating Pattern...

Your portraits tell much about the persons !!
ReplyDeleteVarm photos, good ankles. Stand alone is like poetic also.
Great post. I love Cath's smile.
ReplyDeleteLove your portraits! Very well done.
ReplyDeleteExcellent submissions - I especially like the walking/stand alone shot - very moody.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're enjoying your new toys, and that we get to enjoy the too, through your photos! :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe you already know about this site, but it, but I've found that it, along with Apple's web site and forums, can be helpful: Macworld.
My favorites in this batch are Ace and Cath being kissy-kissy and the iron fence ~ one so sweet, and the other so elegant. David's expression as he peruses the photography book looks disgusted. He was probably thinking, "This book is rubbish. My wife knows way more than this author and takes way better photos than the ones in here - SHE should write a photography book! It would make us a bloody fortune!" :-)
That should say "we get to enjoy THEM too." It's too early here!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I love your shots this week, I was so excited to see them! You do, do lovely warm portraits!
ReplyDeleteWow - they are all great shots! I love the one of David standing alone - well done!
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous! Love the black and white theme!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I love them all well done
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see Cath again. I love her smile, and the one of her with the dog. Dog? Good grief, there's a dog and no cats today!!
ReplyDeleteNice series. Love the repeating patterns and stand (walk) alone. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you all :O)
ReplyDeleteLaloofah - that's David's happy face :O))))
And thanks for the info on the website - off to have a quick peruse.
Barbara - I know, I felt I was letting the feline side down a bit!
ReplyDeleteAll very well done. Cath's photos are terrific...love the dog (psst I am a dog person, sorry) Love your line-up...the alone is outstanding, both of them, and the repeating pattern is terrific!! Have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI just got a 50mm 1.4 yesterday and am in LOOOOOOVE! I look forward to seeing all that your new lens brings our way. And I just love that photo of David with his book...alone in his thoughts.
