The first day of my two week holiday from work - woohoo! David and I ended up at Bradgate Park, Leicestershire where Lady Jane Grey (she of the nine days Queen fame) used to live. Beautiful place and minus the crowds that usually throng it at weekends it was delightfully empty :O)
I'm in love with the landscape. ::Sigh::
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
It looks an absolutely gorgeous spot ~ perfect Middle England!
ReplyDeleteI love Great Britain. I was often in Cornwall and Wales. Thanks for these beautiful photos! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful landscape !! I don't like fall, makes me sad because it announces winter. I would like to be a bear and stay in my cavern from now to spring, lol !
ReplyDeleteLove that old stone fence! Of course we have them downunder in OZ - but I'm thinking they're several hundred years younger!!
