I love the sunny, cheerful color of yellow too (so I had way too much fun with this challenge, lol), especially in flowers. Your pansy closeup is wonderful! What is that first flower with the red berries behind it? That one is my favorite. :-)
Thanks all! Due to cat-induced insomnia I was out taking these in my garden at 5.40am today! Laloofah: being horticulturally challenged I'm afraid I can't help you with the name of that plant. I'm pretty rubbish really!
Oh stop. Do you truly think that calling yourself rubbish is going to get you off the hook? Surely in a nation of devoted gardeners you can find someone who can ID that flower. Perhaps Cath will know. Go on and ask her, I'll wait. ;-)
LOL - Cath will be so pleased to hear that! ;-) Thanks for your I.D. endeavors! If you can't find it easily, don't sweat it. I'm just curious - it's such an interesting and pretty flower!
I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
Yellow is in many ways my favourite colour - you caught me here :-)

ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful Barbara!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the first one.
Closeups can be so nice and these are excellent examples.
