Cats on Tuesday...

Some of you may remember Ralph the interloper cat.  He's been visiting us for a couple of years now and we finally found out that he is in fact homeless.  Last week we managed to get him to the vet where he was neutered, and he then spent the night in our house - what a lovely, friendly chap.  As soon as I sat down he was on my lap curled up.  He came around again on Saturday morning, ate plenty of tuna (I even managed to get some Frontline onto the back of his neck), and curled up with me for an hour before going off on his travels again.  Unfortunately we haven't seen sight nor sound of him since - we're so worried a about him, I do hope he's ok.

Just to prevent any jealousy - here are the usual suspects...

  1. I hope he will come back. Usually once a cat has decided to move into a house, the stay. My friend in Eastbourne had sworn she would never take cats again after her 3 cats had passed away. Then one day a cat showed up, then everyday, then decided to move in and now she is the Queen of the house !

  2. They can have a habit of wandering a few days before they return. I hope Ralph gets back.

    The Usual Suspects look adorable.

  3. We have a "Ralph" too, but her name is Miss Kitty.
She's been with us just about 5 years now, and she has us so well-trained! She is an absolute love.

  4. Hopefully Ralph comes back - it is hard to adjust to domestication after roaming; perhaps with time. (he knows you have tuna, so the odds should be in your favor).

  5. Ralph would be crazy not to show back up again for free Tuna! I do hope he comes back. We feed a stray named, Blondie who shows up daily for his food. He's pretty much feral though so no getting really close to him.
Love your other kitties too, they are beautiful.

  8. Your beautiful feline family is looking great! And I'm glad to read that Ralph reappeared. Cats just love to be mysterious - especially this close to Samhain. :-)

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
