Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

Helloo, helloo, helloo! Here I am back from Brighton (a great place to visit if you're ever down on the south coast) after a fab two day pet photography course.  Thought I might as well utilise some of my shots from there for the Scavenger Hunt.

Happiness...
is pug shaped!
This is Rhian and her adorable
dog Boo.  If you want to see some
amazing dog photography visit Rhian's
website at

'Me and you and a dog named Boo...'
(I had to put that at some point - sorry).

Spring in B&W...
Down beside the canal
in beautiful spring weather yesterday.

The original...

David and Charlie
Family or Faith...
I posted this a few weeks ago but I
like it so much here it is again.
David and Charlie - my guys.

Fuzzy...
Charlie would possibly rip my head off
if he knew I'd described him as fuzzy.
I was lying on the brick paving to take this.
It hurt.

Gathering or Provide.
A gathering of gulls at Brighton.
I was standing there for what seemed ages
trying to get this shot - I knew I wanted
spray in the background.

  1. Very beautiful pictures ! I go to Eastbourne each year in August and stay with friends for a week, since 2007. I don't like Brighton anymore it's like a big fancy fair, I prefer the more familiar atmosphere of Eastbourne and all the other little towns at the coast.

  11. Splendid shots!

Boo is adorable, and Charlie would not be pleased at all, I believe, to be called fuzzy...

  14. Wow awesome set.
That put is adorable. We have a pug (a 3 legged, black pug named, Cricket).
    Adorable family shot & fuzzy.
Spring looked gorgeous in both versions.
Gathering, Fabulous, so glad you waited for the spray in the background.

  15. the seagull shot is amazing - especially the water spraying... I've been to Brighton... years ago... remember learning the beach had rocks instead of sand. Loved my visit.

  16. Love your pictures, especially the one of David and Charlie! I think being a pet photographer would be the most fun job ever! I would love to do that and certainly would enjoy a pet photography class! Hope you share some things here that you learned in class.

  17. Pugs are the cutest dogs ever but I wonder why many of them stick their tongues out so much? I love the canal and swan photo too. Lying on the bricks to take the pic of Charlie? Goodness, the sacrifices you make for your photography!

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
