What a week! Manic at work and we have a rush job on so I'll be working on the 24th and the 27th, I even worked on Friday which was my day off. Plus David is very poorly with a chest infection and is on antibiotics... was tempted to ask the vet to take a look at him as they always work wonders with the cats. Anyway... I managed to take a few shots this afternoon whilst cooking some roast tomato and garlic soup for the poorly boy.
Does what it says on the tin!
Ho ho ho, what have we here?
It's Charlie up to no good

with some wool.
I admit it, this
ornament is actually gold.
I changed the colour temperature
in LightRoom to make it silver.

OK I cannot tell a lie,
my guilty pleasure
is asking my friends to do stupid things so that I
can take photos of them,
(although in Cath's case she doesn't need much encouragement).
She was wearing that beard too until she thought
the reindeer might like to join in!
Angel...
Unlike Cath, Mrs P is very angelic.
Used this pic already this week
but what the heck, she's worth it :O)
Oh good, I was hoping for a picture of funny Cath to cheer me up this year for the holidays. You really found a great friend when you met her. Love the Merry Christmas photo too, and I had to laugh at your idea of having the vet take a look at David. I do hope he feels better by Tuesday. We're just getting over something similar - it's the pits.
ReplyDeletePoor you, having to work right up to the wire - and the other side of it as well. I hope David recovers quickly - the soup sounds wonderful. Seriously, I have more faith in vets than doctors . . .
ReplyDeleteWe love the paws picture and Mrs P the most! Purrs! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Have a happy Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThese are so great, but tangled is my absolute favorite!
ReplyDeleteThe cat photo is GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteI pretty much love all the photos but Silver, Tangled, and Angel are my favorite. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh Yes ! I just love your athmospheric photos; that blue and silver is the most beautiful blue åic I've seen for a long time. That light is so bright and blue color shines !!
ReplyDeleteAnd that quilty pleasure is hilarious, funny, happy, most living !
That cat is so adorable, soft, cute like only cats are (like my cat used to be too , so many good memories :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS !!!!!
Vets are so kind and sympathetic that I've often wished they could treat me as well as the cats.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas, and thanks for all the lovely pics.
PURRfect holiday pictures !!
ReplyDeleteHope that David is feling better real soon !
Merry Christmas / Furry Catmas <3
What a beautiful Christmas greeting card with Miss P! And you must be the queen of bokehs! Two of them! I have to laugh at your Bite Me pix because I put a t-shirt on Zazzle.com with a little dog and under him "Bite Me" -it made me giggle so! But guilty pleasure cause I felt embarrassed. LOL
ReplyDelete"silver" is stunning. Even is it started out gold. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs, very rich use of colors. I love your angel pic.
ReplyDeleteFun set! I can't imagine that ornament in gold, now, it looks so perfect in silver!
ReplyDeleteCath is such a hoot! I love that photo - the beard is perfect on the reindeer. And I know BW will wish he could wear that sign around his neck tomorrow (I'm going to make sure he dons the hat you sent us last year!)
I empathize with David, being at the tail end of the Creeping Crud myself, and I also empathize with your idea of taking him to the vet! By Day #3 of a very painful sore throat, I was wondering if it was Strep, and since I had to take Willow to the vet to have them trim a nasty dew claw nail they'd missed when she was under, I seriously considered asking my vet to do a throat culture on me! But she was out, so then I tried the Public Health clinic since it was next door to a health food store I had to visit anyway, but they were all out at their Christmas party! So then I gave up and thought my immune system just needed to cowboy up. Which it did - the sore throat was gone by the next day. The end. But I do wish I'd had some of that soup of yours to hasten my recovery!!
Looks like you get Boxing Day off, at least! That's good. Here's to David's speedy recovery and a very Happy Christmas at Chez Jackson!
Love your set. Guilty pleasure is my favorite. Have a wonderful Christmas and New year.
ReplyDeleteI suspect your friend's message on the card reflects your sentiments to work about now. Great and most fun set.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Super photos! And I think your angel is perfect!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy New Years to everyone, whether they have two or four feet :-)
ReplyDeleteThe first pic was my fave until I saw your Joy. I posted one of my dogs. She is such an angel (when she isn't barking at air). Great set. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteLMAO...Bite Me...brilliant! LOVE your kitty picture. I hope your David feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteTerrific scavenger hunt photos!! Have a wonderful holiday!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your Joy picture. That is some beautiful bokeh off to the side!
