It was back to work this week - that's all I have to say before deep gloom descends...
Orange or Pink...
Or both :O)
Some tiny squash holding a gathering of some
sort on the garden bench.
I knitted the two with black eyes and
my clever sister in law Liz crocheted the
other two and sent them through the
post to me as a surprise.
Orange...
Beautiful Batsford Arboretum yesterday.
Faceless Portrait...
Well not so much a faceless portrait, more
a pic of my feet in the leaves.
View from the Top...
Alms left for the Buddha at Batsford.
Personally I think he'll get more
pleasure from the leaves than the 13p.
Cosy...
Me feeling cosy in
mittens, scarf, 'I'm a nineteenth-century fop' velvet coat,
and woolly hat.
Cosy #2...
Dora the pumpkin farm cat,
snuggling down in the straw.
I last met her two years ago,
if she remembered me she wasn't letting on.
Cosy #3...
Excellent tea room in the Cotswolds,
(Tisanes of Broadway).
Stacked...
Oh my there's a word with a range of possibilities...
Anyway, here's some veg stacked up outside the deli :O)
I like the bench pic and others with orange leaves, cozy and the last photos very much !!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a frosty morning here in Finland :)

Wow gorgeous photos - love them all- I can't decide on my favourites - maybe the cat, the picture with the bench and the veggies. Wish my pics turned out like that!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photography. Did you use a tripod for your autumn leaves and other outdoor shots? They are so sharp and crisp looking!
ReplyDeleteEvery one of these photos is so beautiful. I especially love the bench and the cat.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks.
ReplyDeleteLessandragr - no I didn't have a tripod with me (too much stuff to carry!).
Almost forgot, Nukke, lovely autumn fog here in the UK this morning.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Love those crocheted pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteTotally wonderful photos! I love the cat and the way you captured the tea room! Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set...that pic with the bench is my favorite - so great!
ReplyDeleteAh, great photos as always! My favorite is Buddha's hand, and I agree with you about which offerings he'll enjoy most.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of you (I'm totally coveting your beautiful scarf!), and love Dora and her pumpkins. Except for cathedrals, you don't take many indoor photos so the tea room interior was a treat, especially since it looks so very English. :-)
And you know how I feel about the veggie display outside the deli, so I'm loving that closeup version!
Laurie - I remember being in search of a scarf and we spent ages traipsing around shops in search of just the right one; I think I finally found that one in River Island. I now have a collection of various scarves as I much prefer them to necklaces (my silver one is pretty fab). I never thought about it before but you're right about me not taking many indoor shots - I'm trying to take more of tearooms etc I visit and will put them on a separate page as a guide for tea drinkers visiting the UK :O)
ReplyDeleteTisanes is quintessentially English :O)
what an incredible set of photos - absolutely LOVE the 2nd orange shot. outstanding composition on these.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't quite reached the time for the woolly hats and mittens, but they fitted you well, so keep it up :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Check me out - I've joined the 20th century!
ReplyDeleteall your photos are stunning... in color and composition. ohhh, i'd love to be wearing mittens & a coat right now. still warm here.
ReplyDeleteI love the shot of the bench and the leaves! Our self portraits are very similiar! Beautiful images, you have such an interesting perspective on them. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLots of beautiful, colorful shots. Looks like a greta autumn ;)
ReplyDeleteFabulous set.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites: Orange - Photo of the Bench with the leaves is awesome.
Cozy - That cat is adorable and your Stacked shot. I too thought that could have provided for some different type of stacked shots!
Oops I left off how cute those knitted/crocheted pumpkins are.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the picture with the bench...so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, particularly the fall shots, but my being a cat person, I must say Dora is most delightful!
