Black Cat Awareness Day...

Cats Protection now host Black Cat Awareness Day as an annual event to highlight the fact that these beautiful animals are often overlooked when people are looking for a kitty.

For more info visit the Cats Protection website.

I was only allowed to take this photo
on the provision that *** and *****
remained completely anonymous.
They obviously have something to hide...

Go on - give a black cat some love :O)

  1. If I see a black cat today, I'll send out some extra love his or her way! :-)

The black cat decorations are fun, did you make them?

Tell Sue and Janet they're not fooling anybody, and their claws are totally not scary. LOL

  2. Yes the little cats are all my own work, well with help from David when I started losing my temper with them!

You can tell Sue and Janet don't own cats... I'd have been much more scary :o)

  3. You played this so cool! Were you not astonished and impressed that I knew who the masked women were?! Sheesh, you're a tough nut to crack. LOL And I believe you... you definitely would have had much scarier claws. You learned from Scare Master Charles, after all.

Neat job on the paper cat heads (and you and David sound like BW and me when it comes to that sort of thing! BW steps in just before I stomp or shred a "fun little" project in a frustrated hissy-fit!) :-)

  4. Same problem here. Shame, huh? We love your crazy friends!

  5. Laurie - I would have been more astonished about your apparent psychic abilities had I not told you about the photo and who was in it previously :O)))

I am useless with making things out of paper - I could never, ever do scrapbooking! I am amazed those little fellahs even resemble cats.

Katz Tales - No idea why humans are so stupid as well as cruel. It was funny seeing Sue and Janet trying to decide what cat poses to strike - Janet asked me what cats do so I said 'twist their head around to their bum to wash it', for some reason she declined to try this :O)))

  6. Laurie - now I can't remember if I did tell you about the photo... in which case, I am in awe of your skills and am not worthy!

  7. Strange cats you have ! the claws are not long enough !
These little paper cats are too cute, did you do them yourself or you bought them ?

  8. Ahem (<-- haughtily offended clearing of throat). Nay, you never told me nuttin' about that photo, so your devastating nonchalance about my amazing powers of telepathy (well, more like powers of observation) do indeed make you unworthy rubbish. ;-)~

ROTFL about Janet's attempt at feline character development for the photo!!

  9. Great shot! I love the contrast in the red foliage to the black cats.

  10. Fun decorations!

My neighbours have a black cat. A bit shy, but from time to time, she'll come up and say hello.

  11. Ahhh, how sweet. I try to make friends with any passing cat (much to the disgust of my own lot).

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
