The Weekend in Black and White...

Posky
Posky...
He's almost 18...
A vet once called him 'a big hairy guy'...
Beautiful, friendly and a great companion...
He's now on medication for his kidneys and suffers from arthritis...
We love him to bits.

  1. A telling portrait. There's a lot of thought behind those eyes.

  3. He does look very loveable, Barbara. I was trying to explain to my grand-daugter duriing the week that humans have fingernails, whereas cats have claws.

  5. I agree that at 18 Posky is a magnificent cat.

Dave has been watching the British Open golf tournament and I caught a glimpse of people with their umbrellas up which reminded me of you and your pink umbrella. Are you being affected by all the huge sports and jubilee events this summer?

  6. Barbara - He's a star isn't he? Well we're watching the Tour de France on tv at the moment, where Bradley Wiggins is in line to win tomorrow. Plus it's a Grand Prix weekend so David will be glued to the tv tomorrow. We're rather sick of having the Olympics shoved down our throats and it hasn't even started yet!

  7. Julie - I have been known to have claws :O))) Posky just wishes for opposable thumbs!

  10. Posky is fortunate to have a personal photographer skilled enough to be worthy of his handsome magnificence. You always capture it well!

He looks so much younger than 18! May he continue to live long and prosper under your loving care. :-)

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
