The Weekend in Black and White...

We took advantage of the long Bank Holiday Weekend to go out for breakfast... my camera went too (as if it wouldn't).

Coffee
David adding sugar to his coffee...
He adds milk too which I am aghast at...
Have I mentioned how fussy I am about coffee?  And tea?
I'll shut up now.

  3. "Nomming implements" - LOL!

We love chocolate almond milk in our coffee-like morning beverage! :-)

These photos are so perfect in B&W I can't even imagine them in color.

  5. Rachael - thank you, there's something about b&w I keep being drawn back to...

Gerald - I was crouching down below the edge of the table, not sure what the other diners thought :O)

Laloofah - Nooooo! For me it has to be decaff filter coffee (preferably Italian, i.e. Lavazza), and it has to be black. I'm a beverage purist. When I first started to work where I do, the only decaff 'coffee' they had was something vomit-inducing made out of barley or weeds or something, god it was hideous. So I brought my own 'proper' coffee. Somehow it caught on and that's all we buy now :O)

Nellies and Linda - many thanks. David has very photogenic hands!

  7. Yup, that's what we drink. Caffeine-free "Weed" coffee! :-) Even when we drank French Roast coffee, we never drank it black. So we''ll just lounge in the corner with David, our chicory and dandelion coffee substitute, our sucanat (unrefined sugar), and our chocolate almond milk while you go being all snooty and all alone with your black Italian coffee. ;-)

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
