A week when we got MAC 'The Knife' up and running, when I went for my annual check-up at the eye hospital and was pronounced fit for purpose, when I saw the Doctor to talk about the weird things happening to me with that medication we don't talk about, and when Pepper failed to get me up in time even though she does it every other morning without fail.
Bench in the sun...
So what if the highlights are blown?
There are sparkles everywhere
so I don't care!...
It's been a busy week (take 2)...
And it all culminates in Friday the 13th. (Which actually started out as an auspicious day for goddesses, so enjoy!) :-)
ReplyDeleteIf you had your photo editing software up and running, you could superimpose the second photo onto the first one, and make it look like you were dozing on the sparkly bench! LOL
Glad your eyes are in good shape! Especially since we count on your photos for edification, amusement and a daily dose of beauty!
Haha, wonderful idea of superimposing those two shots :) So how do you like your MAC "the knife"? I'm still figuring mine out and believe I have only tapped into probably 5% of his capabilities...but love it nonetheless. Glad you got a clean bill of health, and no matter WHAT the eye doc says...I think you have a BRILLIANT eye :)

Ha, I like the idea of playing around with those two shots :O) I am loving the MAC - and am very relieved that my eyes are behaving themselves. :O)
ReplyDeleteNow it's back to how it used to look, only with a fun new (and easy-to-read size) font! Are you messin' with us? :-)
ReplyDeleteAlways.... ;O) I still don't know what it's playing at with the font size on the comments but I've given up worrying about it! By the way - Cath saw her Doctor this week and said that he told her that they'd have to check her hippopotamus - do you think that's what she really meant?!?
ReplyDeleteLOL - well, I'm sure that women's hippopotami bear close watching! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, is it her hippocampus he thinks they need to check? How odd! Is she having memory problems or something?
She can't remember :O))) They did a blood test to check her cholesterol and also checked her thyroid at the same time without telling her. He said the thyroid was ok but her hippopotamus was working overtime!
ReplyDeleteWell, I have no idea what they're talking about, then! Hippocampus is the only body part I can think of that sounds like hippopotamus! Maybe she really does have a hippopotamus that really is working overtime, though hippopotami don't look like terribly hard workers to me. :-) As long as she doesn't have Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, she'll probably be just fine. :-) (LOL - what ironic sadist named that disorder, I wonder?)
ReplyDeleteDear god...!! Is there such a thing as a hypothalamus? Maybe that's it!
ReplyDeleteAh, so now it's "hypo" instead of "hippo?" Well, why didn't you say so in the first place?! LOL!!
ReplyDeletei LOVE the bench photo--great sun flare. hope things get a little brighter this week for you. thanks for linking up
ReplyDelete'You say hippo, I say hypo... let's call the whole thing off...' :O)
