Obviously this is an upside-down letter L!
(I was clasping at straws with this one...)
Weather...
These two photos were taken at Draycote Water in Warwickshire
(it's pronounced Draycott for reasons that escape me).
For some reason David and I thought it would be a good idea to walk
around the entire perimeter yesterday morning.
Bling...
These aren't my blingiest earrings by far, in fact these are pretty subtle,
I usually like jewellery that makes a statement, but these were in the
sale at Wallis for £5 so what can you do?!?
Tangled...
Mrs P sleeping amidst my wool.
Now that really can't be a good thing and
will probably end in tears...
Dark...
Aha! Now what have we here?
This my friends is Dark Chocolate and Ginger Cake.
I made it for David yesterday. I have no idea why as
a) when we were at Draycote Water he took my camera off
me to take a picture of an aeroplane,
thus causing me severe separation anxiety, and
b) he broke my mug with a quote and a picture
of the three witches on it from Macbeth.
I'm trying to think of suitable compensation...
Beautiful shots, love your upside down L!

ReplyDeleteI had trouble with the letter, too. Love the snoozing kitty. Cute! Very nice post!
ReplyDeleteThis was a challenging one! I love your take on the letter of the alphabet (and am partial to the letter L, of course), think your earrings are both wonderfully blingy as well as beautiful, and nearly broke my nose on my computer monitor trying to take a big bite out of that cake! Yummm.
ReplyDeleteOh, and another bad thing David did to you lately? Upsetting you with falsehoods about the alleged dearth of savoury pies in the Colonies! Yep, he owes you big time.
What a great set - that bread looks so good. I also really love your first two shots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. I really love the first two. That weather shot is amazing.
ReplyDeleteChocolate, Ginger and cats..... this post has it all!
ReplyDeleteLiking the ear-rings very much and the price even more. Any chance of the recipe for the chocolate and ginger cake? I have a hubby who might like that...even if it is me that makes it!
ReplyDeleteLove the bling shot!!! Awesome!
