This chap thoughtfully opened his brightly coloured umbrella just
as I wanted to take a photo of this snowy path, so I colour popped the photo
to make the brolly stand out even more.
This used to be my favourite umbrella until I left it somewhere when I was out
and never found it again...
This is my new favourite umbrella, it's pink, it has a black tassel on the handle and it's shaped like an Edwardian parasol. I have to thank Cath for modelling it and for bringing her not very warm pink jacket to put on even though it was freezing!

I hate getting attached to umbrellas. Either I leave on on the bus, or a gale wind turns it unusable.

ReplyDeleteHow annoying it is to lose your favourite umbrella.

ReplyDeleteI can see why you never got your favourite umbrella back: it's huge and it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have found so many umbrellas on my coach and some are truly fantastic.
Gorgeous shots of umbrellas. So many folks chose this for ABC. I'm scared of them and all of you are making them seem innocuous. Eek!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comment on my blog. I assume you are having fun with your lovely pink umbrella under rainy weather.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day.

My umbrellas never seem to last long once the wind gets up.
ReplyDeleteThose are some might special umbrellas. What a nice selection.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Love the pink!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, Barbara. I'm using FXFoto and I find that drawing around an object is a wriggly business. It just never looks neat!
ReplyDeleteIt does take a bit of practice and perseverance, it depends on the shape of the object too as to how well it turns out. Good luck with it!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and excellent choice of U-word. I had Umbrella last time we had U, so I had trouble picking a new U-word.
