In which I don't impress Charlie - again...

Well this just isn't cricket.  We were forecast more snow this week and I was really looking forward to getting out and taking some wintry landscapes etc etc etc.  Charlie and I were also quite excited at the thought of getting some action shots of him doing his 'leaping into a mound of snow head first', or 'snow skeeting'.  The other morning, all prepared, we practically ran out into the garden with the camera, only to find the thinnest scattering of snowflakes you can imagine.  We were very disappointed as the rest of the country seem to be up to their knees in it.  Charlie was not pleased, and let me know it in no uncertain terms.

Even the gargoyle next to the bird bath looked fed up...

'Call this snow? Look, it doesn't even reach my belly'.

'Maybe there's some better stuff over there...'

'...or even over there...'

'...so come on, where the hell is it?  You promised me snow!!!'.

'Bah, I'm off.  This is what I think of you and your empty promises!'

  3. That Charlie is one tough cookie. I wouldn't want to have to impress him. Well, I'm sure more snow is on its way soon.

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
