Q is for Quarters of a Cake

Utilising David's favourite cake for ABC Wednesday.

And this is Posky patiently waiting during above cake shoot in the hope that some would drop on the floor.  Unfortunately it didn't, and then David ate it all anyway.

'Will work for cake...'

  1. Poor Posky - maybe next time, though probably not ;-)

  2. The one way to get your pet's attention - prepare food. When I had 2 Great Danes I had a perpetual backache from leaning over them to fix a meal.

  3. That looks supremely delicious! [Wonderful photograph of it too!] What I wouldn't give for a slice of that, a cup of hot coffee, and a sunny little nook sit in and read my book! Thanks for sharing this goodness! Cheers! Chris

  6. Do cats have a subscription to those eyes? Mine look exactly the same when they want something (and are not getting it). And in this case I can even understand it: that cake looks scrumptious!

  7. That cake looks delicious. I'd probably be quick enough to grave several quarters of it.

  9. Curly cake! I haven't had that in years. Surely D didn't eat it all in one sitting?

  10. That cake looks wonderful. Without too much coaxing I could probably devour all 4 quarters.
I thought your cat's picture and caption was so cute!! My cats don't like sweets, my dogs on the other hand do.

  11. Cats won't work for love nor money, as my grandmother used to say, so Posky is probably lying about "Will work for cake"! But I love that look. And the cake does look Quite delicious.

  14. I'll take the second quarter of cake to be polite, I won't ask for the first!!!!

The kitty looks like he ready for a lick too.

  15. David would like to point out that he didn't eat the cake all at once, although that's not to say he can't because I've seen him do it! And perhaps it would be more truthful if Posky were to say 'Will do absolutely nothing but look beautiful for cake', as I think Kay may be right about the work thing!

I get many more views on my posts than comments, so please if you drop by, stop and say hello. Otherwise I'll start getting paranoid and neurotic, and worry that nobody likes me... sniff sniff...
